Hi, my name is Jacob Ricci, and I'm a freshman from Portsmouth Rhode Island. I'm a History and Secondary Education major, hoping to teach high school level American History. I am a huge history buff, specifically American History and World War Two, which is why I want to teach. I have a brother who is two years older than me. He is at URI, majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Both of my parents are also Electrical Engineers, though my mom hasn't used her degree in many years. My dad, my brother and I are all Eagle Scouts, and so scouting and the outdoors have been big parts of my life.
